Meet the Cast/Crew - Alisha as Hailey

Alisha Oliphant is the creator of the web series, Twins Outta Sync. The beginnings of this story started in one of her screenwriting classes in school. She is an actress represented by Ritter Talent Agency. She is also an independent screenwriter and filmmaker with an Advanced Diploma in Broadcasting and Film from Centennial College. Alisha can be seen in short films; Tied up on New Year’s, Before Grace, Daisy². Alisha will also be portraying Hailey Hudson in Twins Outta Sync. 

Meet the Cast/Crew - Aisha as Alyssa

Aisha Oliphant is an executive producer/series writer on Twins Outta Sync. She was the one who encourage her twin sister that the script had potential and was a big part in the development of the series. Aisha is an actress represented by Ritter Talent Agency and al an independent screenwriter and filmmaker. Aisha graduated with honours from the Video Production program at Durham College. She is known for her writing and acting in Tied up on New Year’s. She also can be seen in the short film Daisy² and soon will be seen in the web series Twins Outta Sync as Alyssa Hudson

Meet the Cast/Crew - Natalie as Mom/Maggie

Natalie Camille is a prolific entertainer and a triple threat in the areas of dance, acting, and singing and has performed in various capacities since the age of 10. In April 2009 and June 2010, Natalie Camille was a dancer and co-choreographer in Exousia Media Group’s inspirational stage play ‘Ultimate Sacrifice’. In August 2018, Natalie co-hosted the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival Awards Show; In 2019, she starred as ‘Wingi’ in the 2019 Marcia Brown Productions comedic stage play “Deception’. She also hosts two weekly radio shows on SPRLIVEFM.com. Natalie Camille will be playing 'Maggie Hudson' in the 'Twins Outta Sync' web series. Natalie Camille’s comedic antics can be enjoyed on YouTube and Instagram under the tag @1nataliecamille

Meet the Cast - Carlos as Dad/David

Carlos Roberts, who plays the role of Dad aka Mr. Hudson is proud to be joining the cast of Twins Outta Sync. Carlos played the Uncle in the hit play 1994 directed by Troy Crossfield & Sheronna Osbourne. Dr. Hutton in the past 2 recurring plays Piece of Mind directed by Colleen Taffe and Mr. James in the Play When It All Falls Down directed by Natalie Miller. Carlos also appears in the nominated best Canadian short film Three Knocks directed by Michael Lambie and written by Dwayne Morgan at the Reel World Film Festival. Carlos lives in the Durham region with his family and works full time as an Account Manager when not acting. Carlos truly has a passion for acting and has been performing on stage & television off and on since high school. You can look forward to seeing Carlos in many more upcoming plays and film in the near future.

Meet the Cast - Leslie as Ciara

Leslie Durward is a Toronto-based theatre/film actress currently represented by Hero Artists. She graduated from the University of Toronto’s Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies, specializing in acting and directing. She began her studies in on-camera acting at LAMDA in London, England. Leslie has lived a life mainly on stage but you can find Leslie in Dark Side of Comedy (VICE); as the lead in Eli Roth's upcoming anthology series Urban Legend (Discovery Plus) , and as a supporting role in Grey Area (Reelworld, CineFAM, Montreal Intl Black Film Festival). Leslie is ecstatic to be playing Ciara Black in the webseries Twins Outta Sync.

Meet the Cast - Shaan as Adam

Shaan Soomro is a South Asian actor from Toronto. He always had an interest for the arts ever since he was a little kid, often making his own homemade films, with his family and friends playing the supporting roles. However, after taking drama in high school, Shaan’s passion for acting reached a new level and that was when he knew he wanted it to play a bigger part in his life. Some of Shaan’s work includes playing a small role on TANCH (an upcoming Pakistani short directed by Shehrezade Mian), an RBC x TIFF commercial, and being an extra in a BoyWithUke music video for his song Understand. Nonetheless, Shaan is very excited to start a new chapter in playing the role of Adam Johnson in Twins Outta Sync

Meet the Cast - Michael as Mr. Manning

Michael Masurkevitch is a professional actor, screenwriter and host. His favourite roles to play are of cathartic leads who go through deep emotional struggle or trauma, from arcs of deep healing to total descents into madness. Recently he play the role of Shawn in “Snow Blinded” (feature, now in festivals) “Caleb” in “Regicide” (feature film, now being submitted to festivals) “Ian” in “Vessel 17” (feature film, post production) and “Theoren in the Shepherd” in ‘Cult Hero’ which just premiered at Fantasia. He is above all grateful for the amazing creative people who create opportunities for him contemplating his emotions in nature , practicing martial arts inappropriately in public spaces to get his teenager son’s attention, or crying about the beauty of human existence in his parents basement.

Meet the Crew - Kaleb Laidman - Owner of KalKaden

Kaleb Laidman started his own production company KalKaden Productions at the young age of 16 and still three years later, is a powerhouse.  Kaleb graduated in June of 2020 from a specialised arts school in Toronto.  While he began in the industry as an actor, he soon realised just how much he loved working behind the scenes as a Director, and Filmmaker. Recently, Kaleb has worked as a Gaffer in the CBC Gem series “Pink Is In”, won “Best Thriller” for his work in “Untold” and directed a commercial for the McNally House Hospice.  

Kaleb has also directed other projects such as ``In My Heart'' music video, the film ``Petersburg, wedding projects , creating and directing Magic Shots, as well as representing commercials for Dodge Ram, Yoga, and two “Food4Kids” commercials. He has also attended Theatre Aquarius and Second City Toronto.  Kaleb won two Joey Awards in 2020 for Best Filmmaker and Best Young Filmmaker for two different projects, through a virtual broadcast, from Vancouver. Kaleb travelled to Vancouver for the 2018 and 2019 Joey Awards where he was nominated for Best Filmmaker for his film Jade and HeartStrings. To date, Kaleb has been awarded Best Young Filmmaker for Heart Strings as well as an Honourable Mention for Editing from the Topshorts Film Festival. Heart Strings also was a winner at the Los Angeles Film Festival where he took home the Best Young Filmmaker Award.

Meet the Crew - Brian Laidman - Actor / Camera Operator

Meet Brian Laidman. Brian is the father of two of the Kalkaden team members and grew to love the industry while he was helping manage his three children pursue their acting careers. Brian has starred in two films, including Heart Strings by KalKaden Productions, where he played the role of a German General. Brian has worked in the financial industry for ten years but loves to jump in to help where he can. He has worked on several films and videos with Kalkaden Productions such as Rooms, a feature film that is currently in post as a Camera Operator. Additional works include Last Resort, Magic Shots, In My Heart music video, Petersburg, wedding productions, as well as commercials including Dodge Ram, Yoga and two “Food4Kids” projects. You can bet you will see Brian on set or working behind the scenes on future productions and projects.

 




Meet the Crew - Tyler Robinson - Actor / Writer / G & E

Tyler Robinson is an actor and has been a part of many productions.  He was awarded “Best Young Actor” by the Topshorts Film Festival for his role in Heart Strings.

(January 2019) Tyler brought home a Joey Award 2020 for his role in Petersburg, a short film Tyler wrote and starred in. Tyler was nominated for and brought home the Joey Award for BEST LEAD ACTOR IN A STUDENT MADE FILM AGES 14-19 YRS. OLD for Jade, another KalKaden Production. (November 2018)

Tyler has starred in a variety of projects over the years, which have included Short Films, threeIndie Features, University Student Films, Commercials and Music Videos.

Tyler has a passion for theatre. He has performed at Provincials twice.  He has performed in the play “The Two Man” and “Sonni Boy”, in the lead roles. Tyler was selected to attend the high school Fringe Festival in Scotland, but sadly, the trip was cancelled due to Covid. Tyler has a true passion for film and loves to work in all avenues of the industry. Recently, screenwriting has become of great interest to him. His short Petersburg (comedy) was selected as one of the top 15 screenwriting awards for Top Shorts Film Festival LA in 2020.

His calm, friendly, and witty nature make Tyler very easy to be around. He is always willing to lend a hand and he loves being a part of KalKaden Productions in all capacities. He has trained with Michael Caruana from Bongo Productions, Second City Hollywood, Gloria Mann Casting, and is a private student of Julian LeBlanc, Owner of LeBlanc School of Acting.

Tyler is represented by Glickman Alexander Talent Management, in Toronto, Canada.

Meet the Crew - Allan Huseyin - On set sound / G&E

Allan Huseyin began working with Kalkaden Productions after he started working in the industry - on set and post production audio. He has honed and continues to develop his skills, on a project basis. He has done audio for works for the internationally awarded Heart Strings short film, an RBC commercial campaign, and Nike Air Jordans spec ad. 

Allan continued to hone his skills on the set of the feature film titled “Last Resort”. He also did post audio on the film “Untold” which was a Best Thriller winner, the McNally House Hospice commercial, as well as lighting and G&E on an upcoming CBC series called “Pink Is In.” When off-set, Allan continues to grow in his field by creating music under “Hesitate Prod”.
